The Colorado Guitar Show and Custom Luthiers Expo 2023
The Colorado Guitar Show and Custom Luthiers Expo took place on Sunday, March 26th at the Delta Marriott Hotel Thornton at 10 E. 120th Street between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The show is put on each year by Guitar Show Magazine and features all kinds of local, Colorado guitar companies as well as luthiers, and companies that make different kinds of guitar accessories.
Some of the vendors that were present at this year's show included Hayley Guitars, Talon Guitars, Lister Guitars, DeHaan Guitars, Skyscraper Guitars, and Henriksen Amplification, just to name a few.
Any guitar freak would find him or herself in heaven upon walking through the doors of the Colorado Guitar Show and Custom Luthiers Expo, and even more so if he or she was interested in building instruments as well.
The show featured all kinds of custom electric guitars, steel string acoustic guitars, nylon string classical guitars, basses, cigar box guitars, and even a bass guitar shaped like a racecar.
On the luthier side of things, there were luthier tools on display, guitar bodies, and necks, and even a section of what some might consider "tonewood" used to build custom instruments.
