Is Waylon my real name? Yes. I was born and raised in Grand Junction, and plan to stay here forever. After 15 years of touring with Country bands, I decided to get legit and find a way to play Country music all day without having to live in a van. When not on the radio, I love performing with the Desert Flyer Band, The Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra, The Western Colorado Jazz Orchestra, Cool Jazz, The Frank Bregar Orchestra, Hot Tub Jazz, Clark Gualt’s Swing City Express, and Javier De Los Santos Mariachi San Jose. When not performing music with my groups, I love telling you about all the live music going on around the Western Colorado.
