Northern Colorado’s First Colombian Restaurant Now Open
Fort Collins has no shortage of diverse and delicious restaurants, but one establishment has the unique distinction of being the first of its kind in Northern Colorado.
Yellow Crunch has only been open for a few weeks, but the brand-new eatery is already becoming a fast favorite for Fort Collins residents. Maybe because it's the first authentic Colombian restaurant to come to the area, filling a flavorful void that previously existed.
The restaurant's name pays homage to the yellow and crunchy cornmeal empanadas, made fresh and offered inside every day. In addition to four different empanadas, Yellow Crunch's menu features traditional Colombian dishes like arepas and salchipapas, plus mouth-watering pastries for a sweet treat. Colombian sodas and specialty cocktails are also available to order.
All of the food at Yellow Crunch is scratch-made and gluten-free. Eating here gives a true taste of Colombian culture.
Yellow Crunch is located inside The Exchange in Old Town at 234 North College Avenue. They are open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
