At the end of last year, USA Today put out there annual reader's choice 10Best list of the Best Cross-Country Ski Resorts in the United States.
To no one's surprise, multiple Colorado spots ranked pretty high.

Breckenridge Nordic Center Named One of the Best Cross-Country Ski Resorts in Colorado
Coming in with the seventh place spot is Breckenridge Nordic Center.
Only a few minutes from downtown Breckenridge, this resort is a family owned operation with a 55 year history.
It's rated as one of the top cross-country skiing destinations in all of North America.
Devil’s Thumb Ranch Ranked the Best Cross-Country Ski Resort in the U.S.
Then coming in at the very top of the list is Devil's Thumb Ranch.
This top cross-country ski resort is spread out across 6,500 acres and is just 75 miles away from Denver.
With 75 miles of groomed trails, Devil's Thumb Ranch also has stables where you can explore the grounds on horseback.
