The Denver Broncos may perform well on the field, but over the years, there have been a few fumbles regarding their personal lives outside of football.

A study by the online gaming site FlashPicks has revealed which of the 32 NFL franchises have had the most arrests among players. Spoiler: the Broncos have had a lot.

To get these results, the study analyzed player arrest data from each professional football team from 2000 to the present.

Based on the study, the Minnesota Vikings have the worst-behaved players. Since 2000, the team has seen players be arrested 60 times. This arrest rate is over eighty percent higher than average.

But the Denver Broncos can't seem to stay out of trouble either. According to the study, the Broncos have seen 56 arrests since 2000, which makes them the second most badly behaved team. Statistics show that Broncos players were arrested 68.28 percent more than the average NFL franchise.

Some examples: In 2023, Broncos cornerback Faion Hicks was arrested on third-degree felony weapon charges. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was taken into custody the year prior on charges of second-degree criminal tampering with a domestic violence enhancer.

The Cincinnati Bengals came in third place on FlashPicks' list, while the Houston Texans rank as the team with the lowest number of arrests, at just 17.

DUIs emerge as a significant factor, comprising a substantial portion of all player arrests during this multi-year period. During the documented time frame, NFL players 1,075  were arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Interestingly, wide receivers were found to be the position that received the most arrests, with 182 arrests since 2000. Cornerbacks were next, seeing 149 arrests over the same period.
