What happens in the club, doesn't always stay in the club, as trouble can follow you anywhere. This is the case for new Broncos receiver Josh Reynolds as he was shot after leaving Colorado gentlemen's club, Shotgun Willies, one week ago.

Last Friday, October 18th, at around 3 in the morning, multiple 911 calls were made regarding a shooting around the East Hampden Avenue and South Dahlia Street area, and that multiple people had been shot and were in need of an ambulance right away.

One of the victims, was The Broncos' Josh Reynolds.

According to 9News, officers located Reynolds, who was shot two times. Once in the left arm, and once in the back of the head. While it's being reported that there were no issues after leaving Shotgun Willies, Reynolds and his crew were followed, and shots were then fired.

Two men have been arrested in the case so far, Burr Charlesworth and Luis Mendoza. The two were seen on video following Reynolds crew out of the club, and their vehicle, as well as others, were seen following Reynold's vehicle.

In the court documents obtained by 9News, Mr. Charlesworth claims the gunfire came from other vehicles due to a prior conflict, but refused to describe the other people involved in the shooting.

In a statement from the Broncos, they said:

Josh Reynolds was a victim of a shooting on Friday in Denver and received treatment for minor injuries. Out of respect for the legal process, we will defer further comment on this matter to the authorities

The Broncos wide receiver was already on a 4 week injured reserve, but reported to the Broncos facility the next morning and has been watching practice at the Broncos facility this week. He's not expected to be out any longer than the already planned four weeks, which is a miracle after being shot twice, once in the back of the head.

Jersey Numbers the Denver Broncos No Longer Use

These jersey numbers hold special reverence to the team and thus aren't allowed to be worn any longer. When longtime fans see these numbers they say, "He was the best!" "The GOAT!" "They couldn't have done it, without him!"
