A spot that once held a 7-11 in Loveland, Colorado is becoming the first location of a drinks business out of Texas.

It's going to be weird for those who've lived in Loveland for a longtime, like myself, to not see that 7-11 building at that corner anymore. I really thought they were going to "retro-fit" the building, but no.

Then again, that 7-11 was there for several decades, a new shiny building will look good there.

Travelers through Loveland in January of 2025, found that where once there was a closed 7-11, was now an empty lot, as construction began on a new spot for beverages that was on its way.

What's Happening Where That 7-11 Used to be in Loveland, Colorado?

It was in the summer of 2024 that it was announced that a big iced-tea chain out of Texas would be opening its first location in Colorado in Loveland. That chain: HTeaO.

For a lot of people, when you hear "Texas Tea" you think of oil, like in the theme song for "The Beverly Hillbillies;" this tea is actual tea, however. iced tea that they take very seriously.

Though HTeaO dates back to 2009, they didn't officially get off the ground until 2018; less than a decade later, they were in 14 states, mostly around the Midwest and South. This Loveland location will the most northern location when it opens in 2025.

What Make HTeaO So Different?

With the brand new building that their building, it will include its own water purification system, which every HTeaO has; it's their way of brewing up their teas (and coffees) "just right."
