If you're a sneakerhead in Colorado, this isn't the news you'll want, but one of the state's most popular Nike Factory Stores has officially sold its last pair of kicks and closed done for good.

Popular Nike Store In Colorado Out Of Business For Good

For some, buying shoes (or sneakers) is just a chore. Putting something on your feet to get around to work, school, etc., and how they look isn't something you truly care about as long as they're comfortable. For others though, shoes are art...

Sneaker collections are probably the most popular they've ever been, with some fanatics paying hundreds, even thousands of dollars for certain pairs of sneaks. Comfort isn't even a priority (as most of these shoes are stiff as hell) as the design of the shoe is what it's all about.

From Air Jordan's to many other major pro sports players' custom sneaker lines, there are thousands of different sneaker designs to buy, collect, and sell. Nike is the creator of many of the world's most popular sneaker designs, and now it'll be a little harder to shop those in person in Colorado.

Nike Factory Outlet In Fort Collins, Colorado, Permanently Closed

In a surprise to all Northern Colorado sneaker crazies, the Nike Factory Store location in Fort Collins, Colorado, has locked up shop after being the area's Nike go-to for over a decade. Located in the Front Range Village Shopping Center off of Harmony in Fort Collins, this was the very last Nike location in Northern Colorado.

After the Nike location in the former Outlets at Loveland closed down, the FoCo location was the only place to truly shop for Nike's North of the Thornton location at the Denver Premium Outlets. No reason was given for the closure at the time of this writing, but the store was always busy anytime we went in there so maybe a new location pops up around NoCO in the future. We've sure lost some great businesses over the last year...
