According to the latest data, which was collected in 2022, Consumer Affairs reports that the state of Colorado averages a higher number of driving fatalities, bad crashes, DUIs, and speeding fatalities than the entire country as a whole. Colorado's Best and Worst

According to the report Commerce City, Colorado had the highest number of traffic fatalities per 100,000 with more than 17 deaths. The Colorado city with the lowest averages in these deadly categories was Boulder, with just .94 deaths per 100,000.
