If Grand Junction Had A Candle

Western Colorado offers a variety of scents from mountain air to the smell of the Colorado River. Some Things Smell Good

Sometimes the simplest smells are the best. I love hiking in the Colorado National Monument after it rains. It just smells like everything has been rinsed off. Who doesn't love the smell of fresh-cut grass? Once they start mowing the grass in the city parks you can smell that too.

Some Things Don't Smell As Good

While so many things smell good, there are also places that we don't want to smell. Spots that smell bad include water treatment plants and swampy grandareas along the Colorado River like the area near the 29 Road Bridge.

Let's look at the good, the bad, and the smelly in the gallery below and check your responses.
