New Movie Filmed in Colorado Centered Around State's High Elevation

The film, appropriately titled, "Elevation," stars Anthony Mackie of "The Avengers" fame and was produced by a man whose credits include "The Purge" and "A Quiet Place," Brad Fuller.

Without giving too much away, Elevation's main plot is set in a post-apocalyptic world with dangerous predators on the loose. However, the predators have one weakness: elevation above 8,000 feet.

The movie, which was shot in places including Golden and Boulder, is currently being screened at the 47th annual Denver Film Festival and will be available for viewing there until November 10th, 2024.

The film is already gathering quite a bit of buzz, especially in Colorado due to its familiar landscapes and was even recognized by the state's Governor, Jared Polis.

As you can see above, Governor Jared Polis captioned the post with a line stating that Colorado is "a vibrant hub for film and media," which is an undeniable fact.
