Despite being the largest city on Colorado's Western Slope, there are some national chains that residents feel are missing from Grand Junction.

Grand Junction is home to plenty of great local restaurants as well as a variety of fast food chains, but new data shows that the top-rated burger chain in the state, according to Coloradans, is conspicuously missing.

Colorado's Top-Rated Burger Chain Doesn't Exist in Grand Junction

The recent study shows that the top-rated burger chain in Colorado is, you guessed it, In-N-Out Burger.

While it was a long time coming before Colorado's first In-N-Out Burger establishment opened its doors, there are currently a whopping 12 locations operating in the Centennial State, all on the Front Range.

In-N-Out was also rated the top burger chain in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, and Oregon.

Colorado's Lowest-Rated Burger Chain Has Multiple Locations in Grand Junction

On the flip side of things, the lowest-rated burger chain in Colorado, Burger King, has two locations in Grand Junction.

Granted, Burger King restaurants are much more prevalent on a national scale than In-N-Out Burger, but the chain was named the least favorite not only in Colorado but also in 23 additional states.

Like any study of this kind, results must be taken with a grain of salt as tastes differ from person to person and distinctions like "best" are entirely subjective.

However, it does seem odd that the top-rated burger chain in the state that originated on the west coast does not have a location in the westernmost major city in Colorado.
