In case you're not familiar, the Twelve Tribes are accused of despicable things including beliefs supporting American slavery, antisemitism, and child abuse, and have even been linked to the Marshall Fire.
YouTubers Danny Berk and Reckless Ben infiltrated Twelve Tribes communities and restaurants in both California and Colorado, revealing shocking information about the cult and their beliefs.

They achieved this by secretly recording the members with spy glasses and now one of the former members that was caught on film has left the cult and sat down with the duo to discuss his experiences.
Former Member of Cult that Runs Colorado's Yellow Deli Speaks Out
Given the damning nature of the evidence obtained by the YouTubers, one would assume that the ex-cult member would have a lot to say in his defense.
However, despite numerous instances of shocking child abuse, virulent antisemitism, racism, and misogyny, the former member appeared to still be quite brainwashed.
The former member claimed that although he was no longer a member, he'd been kicked out of the community before and planned to go back.
He mentioned that his belief in the lifestyle of the cult outweighed any concerns regarding the horrific practices and beliefs connected to the Twelve Tribes and that it was worth it for him to overlook the negative in favor of the positive.
