Is this the Naughtiest Motel in Colorado?
Colorado is home to numerous famous hotels, including the inspiration for Stephen King's 'The Shining' novel, The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, the allegedly haunted Brown Palace in Denver, and the Aspen hotel known for celebrity guests, The Jerome.

However, you may not be aware that another lodging option in Denver is less of a place to grab a room to get some sleep in the middle of a long road trip and is rather known as a "swingers' motel" or an "adult resort."
What is the Naughtiest Motel in Colorado?
While it doesn't appear anything less than modest to passersby, Mon Chalet is likely the naughtiest motel in Colorado.
Located at 12033 East Colfax Avenue in Aurora, the motel goes by the moniker, "Colorado's Finest Adult Resort," and as you might assume, there are certain rules and regulations that guests must follow in order to book a room, or even a day trip, at Mon Chalet.
For example, the motel, which boasts mostly positive reviews on TripAdvisor, allows non-guests to purchase a day pass to the pool, which, according to those familiar with the motel, is sort of the centralized area for mingling, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, after the pool reopens from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., access is limited to male/female couples and single women, although single men are permitted if they have a room.
There are also certain ways to indicate what kind of company, if any, a guest may be seeking. These cues come in the form of different colored wristbands as well as what it means to have your room's door and/or window ajar at any time.
This video review goes into further detail, but be warned, the experiences described at the motel are largely NSFW.
